Dr. David Wright, President of Indiana Wesleyan University recently announced his plan to retire at the end of the 2021-22 school year, which will conclude a 35-year career in Christian higher education with 25 years being at IWU. Additionally, he spent time working internationally in Haiti, and then in England. His areas of professional expertise include higher education policy, the design and administration of non-traditional and online programs, and higher education leadership.
In this episode of Rebuilding the American Dream, Dr. Wright reflects on his storied career, his philosophy and methods for finding a fulfilling life. Of timely importance is Dr. Wright’s advice and guidance for allowing higher education to help us become clear about who we are, what is important to us and how to share that with our communities.
