President Steve Easton, of Dickinson State University, graduated summa cum laude from DSU with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a minor in business administration. He was the third generation of his family to choose Dickinson State. After earning his undergraduate degree at DSU, Easton enrolled in Stanford Law School, where he earned his J.D. and worked as a lawyer for 20 years before returning to his alma mater. His business acumen and deep love of Dickinson State have given President Easton a unique view into the increasingly complex business of higher education, both the challenges and opportunities.
